This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for Project No. BKTZ952014, "Repair POL Tank Facility," and BKTZ952015, "Repair Refueler Parking Area." Successful contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, and services to perform the required work necessary to construct a jet fuel (JP-8) storage facility and Refueler truck parking area. This facility will consist of four 20,000 gallon jet fuel storage tanks and related equipment, including piping, valves, pumps with motor, filter/separator with control valve, truck unloading header with related equipment, and Refueler loading station with related equipment. Site work includes; new reinforced concrete parking area (for four trucks) with containment, concrete tank foundation, concrete loading and unloading island, and new utility services. The contractor shall also provide area drainage, controlled drainage system with underground piping, and concrete containment basin with discharge valve. The work shall follow the project drawings and specifications. The period of performance will be two hundred and seventy (270) calendar days beginning with the issuance of the Notice To Proceed. Plans and specifications will be available on or about fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice. A non-refundable certified check or money order, not a company check is required for plans and specifications in the amount of sixty dollars made payable to the Treasurer of the U.S.. The solicitation can be provided at no cost. Plans and specifications will also be available for review at various plan houses within the state of Tennessee.
