Catoctin Mountain Park, Thurmont, Maryland, to provide a historical
framework for future interpretive and preservation efforts, and provide
baseline information for development of the Park's General Management
Plan. The study area will include the area from Smithburg to Blue Ridge
Summit to Thurmont/Mechanicstown to Cacoctin Furnace and will focus on
Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham State Park. Quotations will be
evaluated on price and the following non-price factors, in accordance
with FAR 13.106-2(b): (A) Past Performance. Provide information on
similar projects with the areas of expertise required for this work;
(B) Quality. Firm's qualifications and any unique or specialized talent
or expertise of the principal investigator/historian to be committed to
accomplish this project; (C) Previous Experience. Any special knowledge
possessed in the locality of the project along with experience in this
general geographic area and record of past accomplishments appropriate
to the work statement. The estimated magnitude is between $30,000 and
