This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F41691-98-Q0791 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC code is 3577, Computer Peripheral Equipment, size standard 1,000 employees. Requirement consists of the following: Line Item 0001-Flexiview Color CCD Pan and Tilt Camera (P494), Explosion Proof. -NTSC Standard CCD Camera assembly in stainless steel waterproof to 150 psi; remotely controlled focus; automatic iris with remote override; 2 lux sensitivity; patented on screen mimic to assist user in camera orientation on the screen;6-24" pipe (PN: HC4940701-1 and HC4940301-1). Line Item 0002-Inclinometer Module added to the camera to record slope of pipe (HC494000). Line Item 0003-Flexidata Software, basic module automatically accesses the footage reading of Pearpoint equipment and records it into the survey log for tabular or graphic reports with inclinometer card. Line Item 0004-Industrial rack mounted computer with 2.5 GB hard drive, 32 Mg RAM, 3.5" 1.44 MB floppy drive, mouse, 166MHZ CPU, Keyboard, MS Win 95, CD ROM, Zip drive with 5 cartridges, 17" SVGA Monitor with 1024X768 resolution, Frame Grabber Card (4 meg), three year warranty. Line Item 0005-Epson Stylus Color 600 high quality color ink jet printer. This is a brand name requirement. The Pearpoint items listed above are to upgrade an in-use Pro-Lite Sewer Inspection Equipment Trailer System. The equipment must perform in wet, hazardous and explosive environments, therefore it must be water and explosive proof. The new equipment must be synchronized with existing equipment to include compatible male and female connectors and pre-sized cabinet rack spaces. Interested parties capable of providing the above, must submit written price and technical quotes, and provide firm evidence of their ability to perform. All responses will be fully considered. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures. Evaluation procedures will be IAW FAR 13.106-2.
