6,, 1998. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation,
supervision and disposal necessary for the replacement of the current
water source heat pump air conditioning and heating system with a hot
water heating and direct expansion (DX) cooling system. Work includes
removing approximately 1500 SF of 2 ft x 2 ft acoustical ceiling tile
and grid, nine water sourece heat pumps in the ceiling including
ductwork, piping heat exchangers and associated cooling tower. Existing
boiler shall be repiped and reused in the new heating system. New
mechanical work consists of installing three roof hung air handlers
with hot water heating coils (two of the air handlers shall have DX
cooling coils and be located above a new acoustical tile ceiling),
installing two 3.5 ton remote condensers, repiping the facility and
installing mechanical system controls. Additional work involves
installing approximately 1500 SF of new 2ft x 2ft acoustical ceiling
tile and grid, insulating bottom ofthe roof deck in the shop area and
incidental related work. Work is located at USCG Aids to Navigation,
Group Long Island Sound, 120 Woodward Avenue, New Haven CT (New Haven
County) The SIC is 1799. The cost range is between $25,000 to $100,000.
Performance period is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after
receipt of Notice to Proceed. CONTRACTOR RESTRICTED TO 45 CALENDAR DAYS
