The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with United Technologies Otis Elevator Company, 2916 Business Center Drive, Alexandria, Virginia for maintenance of Otis elevators installed in the One White Flint North Building. The period of performance will be for one year with four, one year options. Otis Elevator Company developed the proprietary software for the program analysis and diagnostics on the elevators and is the only know qualified source proessessing the knowledge and expertise to perform the required work. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
