Contractor to provide and install @2800 L.F. of conduit and @270 C.L.F. of wire along with necessary hardware such as, junction boxes, hangers, clamps, connectors to meet N.E.C. Old fire alarm system to remain fully functional until new system is inspected and tested. Remove existing fire alarm system and wiring when newly installed system is accepted. Patch and paint to match existing. New system is to be wired point to point with no wire nuts or crimp connectors. Line voltage wireto be 12 AWG. Low voltage wire to be 16 AWG. Conduit is to be 3/4" EMT. All wiring to be completed in accordance with NEC. Provide firestopping at all wall and floor penetrations. All work is to be performed after normal working hours of (6:30 am to 5:00 pm). Coordinate removal and replacement of asbestos containing ceiling tile with on-site building mechanic.
