The work includes placement of rock, concrete foundation modification and installation of 15-foot steel tower base extensions to approximately 10 structures that cross the main body of Devils Lake, with an approximate water depth of 35 feet; placement of rock, concrete reinforcement, and installation of protective steel collars around double-circuit, single pole, steel structures located in the water at Creel Bay, to the immediate west of the City of Devils Lake, ND; relocation of one wood three-pole deadend structure; construction of one single pole steel suspension structure with concrete foundation; three single pole steel angle structures with concrete foundations; and eleven single pole, double circuit, steel structures with concrete foundations. An option to build one single pole steel deadend structure and one single pole, double circuit, steel structure with concrete foundations will also be included as part of the project. This project is located in Benson and Ramsey counties of North Dakota. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available in hard copy only. All work must be completed within 365 calendar days after the receipt of a "Notice to Proceed". This solicitation will be issued on or about July 22, 1998. The projected bid opening date is on or about August 25, 1998. The SIC for this project is 1623.
