DISC INVENTORY LOCATOR SYSTEM FOR FASTENERS AND INDUSTRIAL HARDWARE INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CENTER (DISC) INVENTORY LOCATOR SYSTEM FOR FASTENERS AND INDUSTRIAL HARDWARE DISC INVENTORY LOCATOR SYSTEM (DILS): DILS is an innovative inventory locator system available to Defense Industrial Supply Center suppliers. The purpose of DILS is to match customers' needs with contractors' on-hand assets. Contractors will supply a list of inventory available for purchase to DISC. This information will then be made available to all DISC associates and customers. Contractor assets will be screened regularly to fill requisitions for supplies. DILS will be open to qualified suppliers of industrial fasteners and hardware [(Federal Stock Group (FSG) 55), e.g., screws, bolts, studs, nuts, washers, nails, keys, pins, rivets, o-rings, and other fastener devices and hardware] who maintain inventory and are willing to provide daily inventory data listings electronically to DISC.
