Laundry Ventilation Ducting, (4) Clean, Inspect, and Disinfect Potable
Water Tanks, (5) Inspect Hydraulic Chain Stoppers, (6) Inspect
Mechanical Chain Stoppers, (7) Inspect Hydraulic Griping System, (8)
Level One Inspection of Chain Inhaul Device, (9) Inspect Four Cross
Deck Winches, (10) Inspect and Test Allied Davit, (11) Inspect and Test
Appleton Crane, (12) Modify Grey Water Tank Fill Piping, (13) Sewage
Vent Relocation, (14) Inspect and Test Pad Eyes and Links, (15) Clean
and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks, (16)
Provide Temporary Logistics. Indefinite Items include: (1) Welding
Repairs, (2) Minor Coating Repairs, (3) Provide Additional Temporary
Logistics. Vessel's homeport is Portland, ME. There is no geographical
restriction. Vessel's availability schedule is 05 October 1998 for 28
calendar days. Vessel is a 175 Foot Class Coastal Buoy Tender. There
will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a
certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for
requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. The proposed
contract listed here is a part of the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
after 13 July 1998. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. ATTENTION:

The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program
(STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit
to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
