Concerns having the ability for providing a residential secure juvenile detention for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and medical services, training opportunities, and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence, and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of facility shall be in the Northeast Region of the United States (including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine). Estimated number of inmate days is 3,660 minimum/7,320 maximum for one-year base period and 3,650 minimum/7,300 maximum for option years one, two, and three, and 3,660 minimum/7,320 maximum for option year four, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a July 20, 1998. Estimated closing date is o/a September 18, 1998. Contract base period is one year with four one-year options to renew.
