The Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, National Business Center, intends to procure employee uniforms for approximately 3,700 authorized BLM employees. Uniforms shall consist of commercially available stock items, to include long and short sleeve field shirts, field slacks, shorts, polo shirts, sweaters, field jackets, parkas, wind/rain jackets and pants, caps, and other accessories. Other contract requirements include: adhere to color specifications (earth tone colors -- tan and brown), provide pictorial catalogs or flyers for BLM uniforms, perform minor alterations, and provide nonstandard sizes. This acquisition is unrestricted. The government intends to preferably award one (potentially more than one award) firm-unit price, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type contract, in accordance with FAR Part 112, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The contract award will be for one base year plus 4 one-year option periods. Ordering will be done by each uniformed employee via purchase card or debit card. FOB Ordering will be done by each uniformed employee via purchase card or debit card. FOB destination delivery for multiple sites throughout the continental United States and Alaska. Technical proposal will consist of an oral presentation to include product samples and supplementary written material. Details on the oral presentation process will be provided in the solicitation.
