Naval Surface Warfare Center -- Carderock Division, Philadelphia, Pa., intends to Sole Source an acquisition for twenty-four (24) sensors and indicators and twenty-four (24) totalizer indicators from Hoffer Flow Controls, Inc. Model number HO-3/4X4-2.5-29-T-1M-F1SS-SY100 or equal, calibrated over a flow range of 2.5 to 29 GPM @ a viscosity of 1 centistroke GPM, 150#, 316 Stainless steel with flanges Navy series. Totalizer Indicator Model 47-SY100 or equal. Both items will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 1) Flow meter and totalizer must meet shock testing IAW MIL-S-901H, Type "B", Class 1, Grade "A" certified. (2) Vibration IAW Mil-Std-167-1, Type I & II certified. (3) Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) IAW Mil-STD-461D for surface ships, metallic hull, below deck. (4) Past performance data which shows a flow meter used to monitor diesel fuel consumption. (5) Pressure drop: (Locked Rotors) less than 25 PSID @ 1740 GPH. (6) Flow Rate Minimum 2.5GPM, Maximum 29.0 G.P.M. +/- 2%. (7) Hydrostatic Test to 375 PSIG for 150# raised face flanges. (8) Flow meter internals must be replaceable.
