One step turnkey for design and construction of Commissary and Navy Exchange Retail Mall at North Island Naval Air Station, San Diego CA ( Project Number SW93MP05 Commissary and N703797 Exchange). Contractor shall be responsible for design and construction of a total commissary and Navy exchange retail mall facility to include all equipment, both building and operational, all structures, utilities, roads, walks and associated on-site improvements, including landscaping. Total area of the new facility is 136,945 square feet (12 722 square meters). This includes a 42,895 square foot (3 989 square meters) commissary and a 94,050 square foot (8 733 square meters) exchange/mall. Area may vary plus or minus 10%. The magnitude of construction is over $10,000,000. This procurement is unrestricted. It is anticipated the Request for Proposal (RFP) for this project will be issued approximaely 15 July 1998.
