Procurement of CM Series receivers, transmitters, and linear power amplifiers, including a base requirement for: seventy-five (75) CM-200UT transmitters; twenty-two (22) CM-200VT transmitters; two (2) CM-50 VHF linear power amplifiers; ten (10) CM-51 UHF linear power amplifiers; seventy-five (75) CM-200UR receivers; and, twenty-one (21) CM-200VR receivers. Option lots will be included, consisting of four separate, one-year option periods, with the total option quantities available for each item as follows: CM-200UT transmitters -- quantity 292; CM-200VT transmitters -- quantity 95; CM-50 VHF linear power amplifiers -- quantity 7; CM-51 UHF linear power amplifiers -- quantity 27; CM-200UR receivers -- quantity 293; and, CM-200VR receivers -- quantity 95. The CM series radios are required for support of the UHF/VHF radio replacement program. These specific radios are required to ensure the same levels of compatibility, maintainability, configuration control, and interface reliability with existing systems. A Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), supply type contract (with delivery orders), for a base year and four (one-year) option periods, will be awarded. The Standard Industry Code is 3669, and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on a sole source basis to Motorola, Inc., 8201 E. McDowell Road, Scottsdale, AZ, since proper operation of the required transmitters, receivers, and linear power amplifiers is dependent upon interfacing with presently installed CM series radios. And, Motorola, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the CM series radios. Therefore, to ensure compatibility and standardization, required items will be procured from the original equipment manufacturer (Motorola, Inc.).
