Tank 16300 (750KG) will require a complete structural, mechanical and electrical refurbishment to include asbestos and lead-based paint removal. This project includes re-working the discharge piping for pumps 6, 7 and 8 to provide a new 30" diameter connection to the LC-36 deluge line. Period of performance is 150 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 9 Jul 98 and bid opening date of 8 Aug 98 are tentative. The applicable SIC code and size standard for this project is 1629/$17M. The estimated range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
