The scope of the project is to remove 1192LF (Asbestos insulated water lines and headers); 712LF (Asbestos insulated headers and drum heads); 480SF (Six ash hoppers); 850SF (Four uptake breachings) and 650SF (Two stacks). Boilers have numerous leaks and cracks along headers, seams and under various other asbestos covered areas. RFQ will be issued 7 July 98. Receipt of quotes will be due 23 July 98. Performance period will be forty five (45) calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. This procurement is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstation Program. Replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns. The small business size standard applicable to this project is a concern, including its affiliates, with average annual receipts from its preceeding three years not exceeding $7,000,000.00.
