The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) has traditionally relied on distributors such as banks, insurance brokers, City/State Partners, trade associations, etc., to disseminate information about its programs. In order to greatly increase the number of small businesses using its programs, Ex-Im Bank, through its regional offices, will begin an aggressive effort of direct selling to small businesses exporters. Ex-Im Bank's Business Development Division in Washington, DC, will be responsible for finding active leads, coordinating the effort, tracking its results and making recommendations for product modifications as necessary. Ex-Im Bank is seeking a contractor that will develop a program that will identify active small business exporters that need the Bank's assistance to increase their sales. These sales leads will be provided to the regional offices. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable and have experience in Ex-Im Bank's programs and outreach efforts, know the resources available to small businesses in their own communities and industries, understand small business banking, and understand the aspects of companies that Ex-Im Bank typically supports. This acquisition is restricted (to small businesses) and will be issued utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items/Services. The Standard Industrial Code for this acquisition is: 8748, with a size standard of $5 million.
