MOVING TO OPPORTUNITY FOR FAIR HOUSING SOL R-OPC-21211 The Moving to Opportunity for Fair Housing Demonstration Project (MTO) combines housing counseling services with tenant-based rental assistance to help very low-income families with children relocate from high-poverty neighborhoods in the central city to low poverty neighborhoods anywhere in the metropolitan areas. The demonstration is being conducted in five sites: Boston, New York, Baltimore, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The demonstration is designed to assess the consequences of such relocation on the life opportunities of the participating families over a period of 10 years. Task Orders will be issued during the period of this contract to undertake various tracking, monitoring, data collection, and maintenance tasks needed by the Moving to Opportunity for Fair Housing Demonstration. The solicitation will be available on or about July 1, 1998.
