IAW small purchase procedures, the government is in the process of procuring services for cutting trees and brush at Grand Bay Range, Moody AFB GA. Contractor shall cut trees and brush mechanically with track vehicles, no wheel type vehicles are allowed as this is a wetland. Cut trees and brush as low as possible but no higher than 18", or down to water level. Stumps do not have to be cut off but foliage around stumps must be cut. It is acceptable for the trees to remain where they fall but shall be horizontal. A site visit will be held during the week of 6-10 July 98 between the hours of 0730 and 1600 e.s.t. Maps of the area to be cut may be obtained from Mr Bob Puckett by calling (912) 257-3509 or 3510, or they may be obtained at the site visit.
