The General Services Administration's (GSA) Pacific Rim Region intends to issue a solicitation to provide federal agencies a variety of Information Technology (IT) support services. These support services include, but are not limited to, requirements and design research, analysis and definition, system development, software maintenance, and facilities management support services for business, and scientific and engineering applications. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7379. The contracts estimated value is $4.7 billion. The resultant contracts will be non-mandatory Multiple Award/Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (MA/IDIQ) contracts, with ceiling-priced labor rates for an initial period of two years with options to extend for eight additional years. The proposed procurement, ANSWER, is a full and open competition. GSA intends to make no more than eight total awards under this RFP, to include two awards to smalla businesses, one of which will be a small disadvantaged business. Performance of this contract will be worldwide. The Solicitation will be made available on the Worldwide Web (http://IT-Solutions.gsa.gov/answer).
