Dobbs, 215-656-6923, Contract Specialist The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for approximately 10,000 tons of Type "A" Riprap Stone, 20,000 tons of Crusher Run (Del Dot Specs) CR-Type "B" Stone and 200 tons of Riprap R-4 Stone. Solicitation Number DACW61-98-B-0019 will be issued on or about July 6, 1998 with a closing date of July 21, 1998 at 1115 hours at the local place of bid opening. The performance period is to commence on or about August 3, 1998 and to be completed by September 30. 1998. The Type "A" Riprap Stone shall be delivered at a minimum rate of 350 tons per day, Monday through Friday, whereas delivery of the Crusher Run Stone and Riprap R-4 will be on an "on call" basis. All stone shall be delivered to the C&D Canal at sites located along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, between Reedy Point, Delaware and Grove Neck, Maryland.
