The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service will be soliciting proposals from prospective offerors for comprehensive home health/hospice care services. The contractor shall provide all necessary covered services within the scope of contract, this to include, but not be limited to; room and board, specialized equipment, medical supplies, all necessary medical, administrative and technical personnel, medical drugs and other pharmaceutical supplies, and consult and other expertise necessary in the delivery of home health/hospice care services. The contractor shall provide 24-hour coverage of medical care to include physician, nursing and other necessary medical care. The Government wil accept and consider all proposals received. Award of contract will be made to those offerors whose facilities are certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organization (JCAHO), proposed reimbursement rates are at, or below, the alowable Medicare Rates, maintain Liability Insurance and have applicable operator's licensure.
