MOSELEY (703) 806-4435 (Site Code DADW35) The U.S. Army Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a Solicitation for a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for the exterior renovation of Woodlawn Village Housing Area to install vinyl siding and garage doors at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Work consists of but not limited to repair/replace the deteriorated facia, soffit, molding and trim, provide vinyl coated aluminum coil stock/vinyl soffit over all the facia, soffit and exposed wood surfaces. Provide additional ventilation on soffit. Provide vinyl siding over all the exposed wood siding surfaces. Remove the deteriorated bird screen and provide treated 2 x 6 lumber at the same locations. Cover the 2 x 6 treated lumber with coil stock. Remove the deteriorated solar screen and provide treated 2 x 6 lumber at the same locations. Cover the 2 x 6 treated lumber with coil. Remove the existing garage doors and replace doors to fit the existing opening. Properly dispose of all lead contaminated debris (if any) due to the demolition. Paint all the exterior metal railing. Provide coil stock for all exterior wood posts. The proposed contract is unrestricted (all responsible sources may submit bid). The magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000.
