The General Services Administration (GSA) requires hotel/motel services for its annual training conference (IRMCO) for federal managers and key personnel directly involved with and responsible for management of information technology. The following requirements must be met: (1) The location must be within 200 road miles, but no closer than 50 miles of the Washington, DC area. The following facilities and services are required to be provided within one facility: Estimated Dates: September 6, 1999 -- September 10, 1999 (with the option for an additional year (on September 4, 2000 -- September 8, 2000). Alternate dates are: August 30, 1999 through September 3, 1999 (with the option for an additional year (on August 28, 2000 -- September 1, 2000). Lodging for IRMCO: Ten single rooms for estimated 10 people for one night, and 280 single rooms for estimated 280 people for 3 nights at each session. Meals for IRMCO: Daily meals, banquet style, for estimated 280 people (breakfast, lunch, dinner) each session. Conference rooms for IRMCO: 1. A conference room for 300 people to be used for plenary sessions, available on a 24-hour basis. 2. Three break-out rooms to accommodate 100 people per room set in classroom style, available on a 24-hour basis. 3. Two multipurpose rooms for use as work and speaker rooms on a 24-hour basis. 4. One room for use for a special meeting for one night, set for 60 people in U-shape with space for additional attendees if needed. 5. Space available for no more than 30 technology exhibits. Conference support: Multi-conference services such as audiovisual equipment and conference supplies. A Request For Quotes (RFQ) document will be sent to all firms that respond to this announcement.
