Mid Size. P/N: MK-VIA. For use by the Hazardous Devices Division in it's Robotics Course being developed at the request of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). It will be used with a computer based training program for driving and operating. The robots must be operationally identical to existing FBI equipment. It is essential that the robotics training course utilize the above robot in order to achieve the most effective U.S. operational capabilities. This is a solicitation for commercial items using simplified acquisition procedures authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and Subpart 13.5 to request quotation with anticipated award date of 8 July 1998.
