Santos, Contract Specialist, 678-9080 The work includes removal and disposal of existing multiple roofing systems, flashings, wood curbs and wood nailers all down to the roof deck of Building 601, Naval Support Activity, East Bank, New Orleans, LA. Also included is the removal and disposal of existing asbestos containing roof base flashing, and handling of materials painted with lead-based paint. The scope of work includes the installation of a multi-layer insulation system over the existing deck using hot asphalt, and the installation of a 4-ply hot asphaltic roof with a smooth reflective coating. Replacement of all wood nailers and curbs as well as flashings and gutters, edge metal, etc. are included. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 5 July 1998 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Bid opening is 4 August 1998.
