(USDA) requires a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management Program
(IPM) for the USDA Complex located in Washington, D.C. IPM is a
multidimensional program that coordinates pest control activities with
sanitation, waste management, and structural maintenance, involves
indentifying specific sites of actual or potential pest infestation,
suppressing existing infestations with short-term corrective solutions,
and reducing the causes of infestation with long-term preventive
solutions. Long-term solutions are those that deny pests food,
moisture, harborager and access. The Contractor shall furnish all
supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide
monitoring, inspecting, trapping and pesticide to provide monitoring,
inspecting, trapping and pesticide application aspects of the IPM
program. In addition, the Contractor must have a resident entomogolist
on staff to implement the required IPM Program. The Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7342 and $3.5 Million. The
contract will be for one (1) base year with four (4) option renewal
