Z -- REPAIR ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, BASEWIDE SOL F31601-98-R0010 DUE 081798 POC Kathleen A Francis, (910)394-6253, Contract Administrator, John Howard, (910)394-6252, Contracting Officer This project consists of replacing 5,025 LF cable, 2,750 LF ductwork, and 9 manholes near runway. Add 4,000 LF of cable, 4,000 LF of ductwork and manholes for new feeder line. Provide one pad mounted air switch, two pad mounted fused air switches, three submersible vacuum switches and one pad mounted vacuum switch. Also provide 10 automatically switched capacitor banks and 11 manually switched capacitor banks. Include all required trenching and directional drilling. All work is to be performed at Pope AFB, Cumberland County, NC, which is located adjacent to Ft Bragg, NC. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The contract performance period for this project is 180 days. This is a competitive best value source selection in which the offeror's performance history and price are considered equally important.
