Monk, (410) 762-6456, Contracting Officer Lodging -- The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for lodging services for Coast Guard crewmen while their assigned vessel is undergoing repairs/overhaul her at the USCG YARD. The area of location shall be within a 10 mile radius of the Coast Guard YARD, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD. The estimated lodging reauirements for rooming needs are 12 single rooms and 60 double rooms for a total of 105 days each over a period of performance of one-yearr. Pre-award survey requirements are: (1) adequate water pressure at peak hours, (2) ability to supply hot water and adjust warm water, (3) rooms adequately maintained, (4) plumbing maintained with no evidence of leakage, (5) no water damage in ceilings or walls, (6) hotel must have the ability to provide up to 60 rooms for 3 months lodging within 24 hour notice, (7) lodging must be within a 10 mile radius of the Coast Guard YARD, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, (8) daily maid service must be provided, (9) rooms must be allocated in blocks whenever possible,(10) clean towels must be provided daily and placed in rooms at time of cleaning, (11) adequatee heating and air conditioning available at all times, (12) laundry facilities easily accessible, (13) restaurants/fast foods easily accessible, (14) local public transportation easily accessible, (15) shopping mall easily accessible, (16) facility must supply with the bid/proposal, a copy of their rating status, and certificate of rating. A firm-fixed-price requirements contract is anticipated. Performance under this contract shall be scheduled by placing orders with the contractor.
