Contractor to provide all plant, labor, equipment, supplies and materials necesary for Addition/Alteration to Fire Station at the Air National Guard Base, Fresno, California, 93727. (Fresno County ) Work includes, but is not limited to, the addition to and interior renovation of the existing Fire Station facility. New work consists of the addition of approximately 375 SF CMU block addition to the facility for use as an extinguisher maintenance and storage area, with associated electrical and mechanical work, addition to an existing carport (ABI) and installation of a new vehicle exhaust ventilation system for the apparatus bay. Renovation work consists of the complete remodel of the alarm control center, replacement of most interior finishes and miscellaneous repairs throughout the facility. The Invitation for Bid will include a base bid and one additive item. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The invitation to bid will be issued approximately 17 July 1998. This solicitation is advertised as an unrestricted procurement. There is a charge of $50.00 for one set of bid documents.
