Amendment to the specifications to read as follows: Furnish 1725 Metric Ton of Asphalt Surface Treatment "Chip Seal" aggregate in accordance with FP-96, Section 409 Item 40901, Surface Treatment Aggregate Designation D. As an option, the contractor may elect to use Washington State Department of Transportation 1996 Standard Specifications Item 8746, entitled Furnish and Placing Crushed Screening 9.50 -- 2.00mm quantity 1725 Metric Ton.
