provides revisions to clarify specifications and extend RFQ closing
date to June 23, 1998, COB. REVISE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Amendment to the
previous synopsis/solicitation to RFQ R98-3, to extend closing date of
RFQ to June 23, 1998. 2. Amendment to Change Delivery requirements to
read: Delivery of the Aggregate only shall be made within 20 calendars
following an issuance to notice to proceed. 3. Amendment of the
specifications to read as follows: Furnish 1156 Metric Ton of Asphalt
Surface Treatment "Chip Seal" aggregate in accordance with FP-96,
Section 409 Item 40901, Surface Treatment Aggregate Designation D. As
an option, the contractor may elect to use Washington State Department
of Transportation 1996 Standard Specifications Item 8746, entitled
Furnished and Placing Crushed Screening 9.50 -- 2.00mm, quantity 1156
Metric Ton. You are advised that this procurement is for the material
only and the placement of the aggregate will be completed by the
