Z -- ASBESTOS REMOVAL SOL IFB 103-081 DUE 071598 POC Michelle Davy, Regional Contract Specialist The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a construction contract to the lowest priced, responsible bidder for the removal and replacement of asbestos floor tile located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Greenbag Rd., Morgantown, West Virginia. The solicitation will be 100% set aside for small business. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Work shall be in accordance with EPA, OSHA, AND NIOSH regulations and include the removal of approximately 31,000 square feet of 12" x 12" beige with mottle vinyl floor tile (VFT) and associated mastic. Anticipated solicitation issue date is June 22, 1998, with an anticipated bid due date of July 28, 1998. Estimated contract completion is 180 days (6 months) from notice of proceed date.
