This project consists of reconstructing 21.6 kilometers of forest roads. The major part of the work includes grading and shaping the roadbed, constructing rock drainage crossings, constructing short realignment sections and placing pit-run surfacing material at designated locations. Material for surfacing, riprap and rock drainage crossings is anticipated to be obtained from an existing Forest Service pit. This project is located on the North Kaibab Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest. ISSUE DATE: June 17, 1998. Proposals are due at the close of business July 16, 1998 4:30 p.m. MST. Estimated Start Work Date: August 3, 1998. There will be a pre-bid meeting on June 25, 1998, at 1:00 p.m. at the North Kaibab Ranger District in Fredonia, Arizona.
