DACA47) Competition for this acquisition is restricted to 8(a)
contractors serviced by the Albuquerque Small Business Administration
District which have SIC Code 1542 among their approved SIC Codes. All
other contractors are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The SBA
Requirement Number Assigned is 0682-98-803830. The project consists of
the construction of an Aircraft Ground Equipment Maintenance Facility
with Yard (AGE); a Liquid Oxygen Building with Storage (LOX); and a
Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) addition to Building
830. The AGE facility shall be a pre-engineered building with
split-faced concrete masonry units (CMU), wainscot exterior, banded
with fluted CMU, and full height CMU interior partitions. The remaining
exterior walls shall have a field assembled insulated metal panel
system with both interior and exterior metal finish face sheet. A 5-ton
interior bridge crane shall span the maintenance hall. The roof shall
be of standing seam metal roofing panels. The LOX storage facilityshall
be a concrete slab sealed with a hardener, sealer, and densifier to
provide protection from LOX spillage. The LOX structure shall consist
of a pre-engineered metal frame and roof structure covered with
standing seam metal roofing panels. The facility shall house three
400-gallon storage tanks. The PMEL facility shall be constructed of
load-bearing CMU walls with metal bar joist framing and a metal deck,
roof insulation and a flat roofing membrane. The exterior finish shall
match the existing U.S. Air Force PMEL. Each site shall include all
supporting electrical requirements, utilities, parking lot, and
sidewalks. Each facility will include special electrical requirements
for 50-hz equipment. This is a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a SIC
code of 1542. The magnitude of construction is between $1 Million and
$5 Million and the construction period is 365 days. Bonding will be

ninety (90) day bid acceptance period will apply to this solicitation.
The cost of plans and specifications is $125.00 per set and is
