Q -- DENTAL HYGIENISTS SOL RFQ138-0220 DUE 071498 POC Norman Ward, Regional Contract Specialist The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP), Terre Haute, In., intends to award a firm-fixed price type contract with indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity for the services of two (2) Dental Hygienists. These services shall be provided to the inmate population on the USP and the adjacent Federal Prison Camp. The successful contractor shall perform routine and extensive prophylactic procedures and therapeutic procedures on patients referred by the Dental Staff. Contractors will perform duties consistent with the field of Dental Hygiene. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. It is anticipated that these positions will be required 20-30 hours weekly. These positions will not exceed 30 hours in a given week. The anticipated performance period will be award, tentatively October 1, 1998, through twelve months. Additionally, the contact shall provide for four (4) twelve month option periods.
