This is a market survey to locate additional sources for the LCSS Woodland, Desert, Special Desert Radar Transparent and Radar Scattering Screens and Screen Systems, Repair Kits, Repair Kit Cases and Support System Cases. The current source for the LCSS is Technical Products Group Inc., Intellitec Division, 2000 Brunswick Lane, Deland, FL. 32724-2001. The approximate quantities consist of 96,870 screens, 19,065 screen systems, 46,955 repair kits, and 65,885 screen, support and repair kit cases, over a 5 year period. At present detailed technical data for the manufacturer or acceptance is available from the Government (MIL-C-53004B and associated drawings). Suppliers capable of furnishing this system must so indicate by writing to Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-E-GS (Forest), Fort Monmouth, NJ., 07703-5000. This response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase orders,if the supplier was a vender to the previous source, or a statement from the previous source demonstratingthat the supplier can, in fact, supply an item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with those items acquired from the previous supplier. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the items supplied will perform satisfactory when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
