MONTES, Contract Specialist (805)989-8529 FAX (805)989-9745 DESC: THIS IS A MARKET SEARCH for SOURCES SOUGHT to identify firms that can provide the following service being considered for inclusion under a single contract: Contractor employees must be U.S. Citizens who have been subjected to a trustworthiness determination. The contractor shall perform services in controlled/restriced/secured areas in accordance with the Security Directives. The contractor shall wear Government-furnished identification badges at all times in accordance with Base regulations. The contractor shall comply with the Facility Access Determination (FAD) Program. This is due to contract performance requirements in areas critical to the operation of the Command, in controlled, restricted, secure areas, and access to sensitive Unclassified information. The work involves: installation of addressable fire alarm control panels, addressable interface modules, initiation releasing and notification circuits and devices, and associated electrical work, programming and acceptance testing, for tie-in to existing C02, preaction and wet pipe systems throughout an access controlled building. Work includes removal of existing fire alarm control panels and sub-panels, remote annunciator panels, out dated notification, initiating and release components, and Gamewell master box reporting system for installation of "KING FISHER" radio notification system with associated wiring and conduit. Work also includes a minor extention of existing wet pipe system and demolition of single room Halon system and incidental related work. The Standard Industrial Code is 1731; Small Business Standard is 7.0 mil. Contractors must be aware that a background investigation will include but not limited to: drug, alcohol and financial responsibility.
