Contractor must be an approved source of this item to be considered for award. Approved source are Bell Helicopter Textron Incorporated and Duncan Industries. Procurement is for Control Tube, Tail R, NSN: 1615-00-886-5998, P/N: 201-010-742-9, Quantity of 500 each. FOB is destination to Texarkana, TX. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a limited Number of Responsible Sources. The principle medium which the Government will use for technical data transmittal during this procurement is the 4.75 inch diameter compact disk with embedded reader software. Windows 3.1, or Windows NT operating environment and a CD reader are required. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order tocompete for future solicitations.
