R -- MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES FOR RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE 2 (RCM2) SOL N68335-98-R-0245 DUE 061398 POC Elaine Lovering (732) 323-5221 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to establish a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for management support services for which the Government does not own any specifications or data rights to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure these services from Strategic Technologies, Inc. (STI), Suite 400, 2400 Ardmore Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15221, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, and under an approved sole source. STI specializes in Reliability Centered Maintenance 2 (RCM2). As a licensee of Aladon Ltd., the sole owners of this technology process, STI is currently the only known North American licensee which can provide the full range of management and technical services required to support NAWCADLKE RCM2 efforts. Firms that can recognize and provide the required services described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. (0148)
