J -- PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF INDUSTRIAL REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT AND MECHNICAL ROOM REFRIGERANT GAS MONITORING SYSTEM AT MALCOM GROW MEDICAL CENTER, ANDREWS AFB MD POC Contact: MSGT Keith A Stewart, 301-981-2304, Contracting Specialist The 89th Contracting Squadron at Andrews AFB is seeking sources and information for Preventative Maintenance and Repair of 3 McQuay Model No. PEH076 300 ton chillers, 1 Trane Model No CVHE500, 500 ton centrifugal compressor, 1 Dunham-Busch Model No. AUDR055B 55 ton compressor and a Yokogawa-Halogen Gas Monitor Model HGM-200A at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB, MD. The service includes but is not limited to monthly, semi and biannual inspections, repair, adjustments which includes all mechanical and electrical work associated with the operations of these units on a routine or emergency service call basis. Both Large and Small business are encouraged to participate, as this is a sources sought/request for information only. Responses to this notice shall address the applicability of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Contractor's who feel that this acquisition can meet the definition of a commercial service found in FAR 12 should provide the following: customary practices including warranty, buyer financing, discount ect., under which commercial sales of the services are made; the requirements of any laws and regulations unique to the service being acquired; customary practices regarding quality assurance procedures and other terms and conditions that would govern this type of acquisition. Information submitted shall not be returned. The duration of the contemplated contract including option years is five (5) years. This notice shall not be construed as an RFP nor obligate the Government to award a contract, restrict the Government in its ultimate approach, obligate the Government to pay for any information that is submitted or costs associated with proposal preparation.
