YOUNG (Site Code W36HUG) The North Carolina Army National Guard has a requirement at various locations throughout the state to purchase and exchange the following battery groups: 2HN, 4HN, 6TN, 8D, 1131MF and 1131PMF. The contractor is required to comply with all Federal and State EPA and Safety requirements, labor laws and regulations. Contractor will be responsible for the control and disposal of all hazardous waste generated during the performance of this contract. The period of performance is 1 October 1998 -- 30 September 1999, with an option to renew the contract for FY 2000 & 2001. The Government's obligation hereunder is contingent upon congress enacting funds, reference Federal Army Regulation, (FAR) clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. This is a nonrestrictive purchase.
