R -- ACTUARIAL SERVICES CONTRACT SOL HCFA-98-024/FB POC Famane Bolton, Contract Specialist, (410) 786-5148 The Health Care Financing Administration's Office of the Actuary intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Actuarial Research Corporation. The purpose of this contract is to continue the use of many ad hoc requests received by the Office of the Actuary which require actuarial estimates. Specifically, this procurement is needed to continue the development of costs estimates, budget impact analyses for legislative and regulatory initiatives, projections for the President's budget, the annual Trustees' Reports to Congress on the financial status of the Medicare and Medicaid programs and to determine the various deductibles and premiums for the Medicare program. Proposed period of performance is twelve months from date of award with four one year option periods. Telephone requests will not be honored. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
