N -- NEW PARKING AND REVENUE CONTROL SYSTEM SOL 541-172-98 DUE 071398 POC Jeanelle Wright, (440) 838-6091 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio intends to procure services for the supply, installation, testing and training of an operational parking and revenue equipment control system for the 800 car parking garage currently under construction. The revenue control system shall be equipped with bullet resistant cashier booths; computer system; card access system; facility management counting and all other necessary equipment to install a fully operating parking and revenue control system. All parking control equipment shall be UL approved with current documentation supporting this safety labeling. All parking control equipment shall be new, free from defects and installed in accordance with the forthcoming specifications. All equipment must be provided by one (1) manufacturer. The service life of the system with all components meeting performance specifications will be a minimum of ten years. The vendor will specify the preventive maintenance schedule requiredto provide a ten (10) year service life. A 100% parts and labor warranty of not less than one year from the date fo final acceptance of the system by the VAMC will be provided. When the vendor has completed installation, the entire system will be reveiwed and tested before the owner's final acceptance. All equipment must function without any downtime and all facility and lane counts must be engineered and accurate for final acceptance to be given. The vendor shall submit (WITH BID) a detailed product portfolio which included equipment data sheets, product specifications, delivery time, installation time and testing. Vendor shall also submit with bid CAD drawings for electrical and communication requirements for a functional system. All conduit will be provided by the VAMC. All electrical wiring, data and intercom cable to be provided by the vendor. This solicitation package will be issued on June 12, 1998 and bids shall be due within thirty (30) days.
