N -- INSTALLATION OF SECURITY SURVEILLANCE TELEVISION (SSTV) SYSTEM SOL 541-171-98 DUE 071398 POC Jeanelle Wright, (440) 838-6091 The VAMC, Cleveland intends to procure services to include the supply, installation, testing and training of an operational color security surveillance television (SSTV) system for the new 800 car parking garage currently under construction. The system shall be a color system operating in accordance with Electronics Industries Association (EIA) Standard RS-170. It shall consist of the following subsystems: Control Room Subsystem (CRS); Exterior Subsystem (ES); Parking Subsystem (PS). The VAMC's interior areas of interest are doorways, elevator lobbies and corridors. Exterior areas of interest are parking lots, loading docks, building entrances and open spaces surrounding the VAMC. The Contractor shall design, engineer and provide the system free of engineering, installation, system operation and manufacturing defects that provides a "Turnkey" installation. The system shall be designed, engineered and installed for ease of operation, maintenance and testing. A monitoring system shall be installed in theparking garage guard room. There shall be at least two 12 inch color monitor (more if necessary) connected to the electrical equipment room sequential switcher. The video and camera control signals shall be routed to the Security Police control console.
