Only offers from McDonnell/Boeing Authorized Maintenance Centers will be accepted. Repairs and overhauls are to be performed by a McDonnell Douglas/Boeing authorized maintenance center and FAA certified repair station. All repairs and overhauls shall be to the latest configuration and standards in accordance with applicable McDonnell Douglas/Boeing maintenance manuals, service letters, and service bulletins with changes in effect at the time the engines are repaired and overhauled. The same Government owned transmissions will be repaired or overhauled and returned to the government. It is intended to award a time and materials/indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for an initial period of one (1) year with four (4)-one year option periods, which, if exercised could extend the performance period to a total of five (5) years. All offers received will be evaluated for the initial one (1) year period plus the four (4) option periods. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. Wage determinations have been requested for Ozark, AL; Mesa, AZ; Delano, CA; Oakland, CA; Upland, CA; Victorville, CA; Erie, CO; Pensacola, FL; West Palm Beach, FL; Macomb, MI; Central Point, OR; and Maryville, TN. The contracting officer will request wage determinations for additional localities if requested to do so in writing by 4:30PM, Central Standard Time, June 30, 1998.
