The United States Postal Service is seeking the services of an on-demand digital printer in the Boston, MA or Hartford, CT area to support Mailing Online, a new Internet-based service which enables a postal customer to electronically send documents produced on a desktop computer to the Postal Service, which then routes them to a print facility. The successful offeror will provide turnkey printing, finishing, and distribution of mail pieces delivered electronically to the printer's site by the Postal Service. Printing services will include simplex and duplex impressions on 8 " x11", 8 " x 14", and 11" x 17" 20 lb. bond in black and white with spot/highlights colors available. The successful offeror will be required to implement adequate security measures that meet U.S. Postal Inspection Service specifications for ensuring the integrity of the U.S. Mail.
