Mosley, Contract Specialist, (202) 366-9570 The objective of this requirement is to obtain the necessary personnel, facilities, equipment and services to perform testing services, inspection and reporting requirements necessary to conduct periodic tests (one (1) four (4) car convoy approximately every three months or as directed) to monitor and adjust the Base Course Wear Rate for the Radial Course Monitoring Tires when operated on the specified Uniform Tire Quality Grading Treadwear (UTQG) Course. Tests shall be performed in accordance with Code 49 CFR, Part 575.104, Uniform Tire Quality Grading Standard, section (e), Treadwear Grading Conditions and Procedures. It is contemplated that a Fixed Unit Price (Per Test) type contract will be awarded. The anticipated period of performance is for twelve (12) months with three (3) additional one-year option periods.
