This solicitation invites proposals for an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract for the Central Florida area. Proposal amount will be in the form of a two digit single multiplier to be applied against a unit price schedule for future work orders which include, but are not limited to, various types of repair and alteration projects for U.S.P.S. owned and/or leased buildings throughout South Florida area. There may be more than one contract awarded as a result of this Solicitation. If only one contract is awarded, it would be awarded to the offeror with the lowest multiplier. The minimum amount of $10,000 worth of work during the two year period of the contract, as well as the maximum amount of $500,000 applies to each of the contracts that may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The contract may be increased to $3,000,000 with corresponding increase in payment and performance bonds. NO PROPOSAL GUARANTEE (BID BOND) IS REQUIRED. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successfel offeror(s). Solicitation instructions, conditions and other contract documents may be examined at the Facilities Service Office, USPS, Suite 300, 4000 DeKalb Technology Pkwy., Atlanta, GA 30340-2799 and most nearby plan rooms. Solicitation packages can be obtained by written request only to the above address, ATTN: Leslie Martin. There is a $35.00 NON-REFUNDABLE charge for each solicitation package. Remittance, in the proper amount and payable to "DISBURSING OFFICER, U. S. Postal Service," must accompany the request. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Only offers returned via personal hand delivery and/or US Postal Service (First Class Mail, Express Mail and Priority Mail) will be considered in compliance with this solicitation. Any other carriers will be rejected. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, identity of offerors, amount of any offer or relative standing of the offers will not be disclosed to anyone until time of contract award. The U. S.
