The digester/control building work shall include tank cleaning, crack repair, surface coating, masonry rehabilitation, window reglazing, gas takeoff piping, cover mounted mixers, boiler/heat exchangers, recirculation pumps, transfer pump, chemical feed system, piping and valves, gas safety equipment, concrete equipment base, waste burner pad, painting, ventilation improvements, electrical and controls. The scum pumping improvements shall include scum chopper pumps, piping, and electrical work. The grit removal facility improvements shall include a grit collector structure, collection equipment, weather protection equipment, electrical and controls, and incidental related work at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina, complete and ready for use.
